Sunrise meditation circle on Sai Island, Goa

Goa  ·  Private Island  ·  Full Moon Retreat

Disconnect from the noise.
Reconnect with yourself.

A transformational and spiritual adventure retreat on a private island in Goa — yoga, breathwork, kundalini activation, sound healing, and sacred Full Moon rituals.

Inward Action creates nature-first yoga retreats in Goa where movement, stillness, breath, and community come together for real transformation.

Retreat Philosophy

Move. Breathe. Heal. Celebrate. Transform.

As a nature retreat in Goa built around yoga, meditation, and breathwork, we do not believe transformation can be scheduled into a corporate timetable. At Inward Action, your journey through our five pillars occurs at your own rhythm. The fire is lit, the island is open, but participation is never forced. Spend your morning reading by the sweet water lake, take a kayak out onto the river whenever the water calls, or retreat into one of our dedicated, low-stimulus meditation corners. This is an active reclamation of your personal sovereignty — giving you the space to move, breathe, and heal on your own terms.

A Glimpse of the Island

This is what it actually looks like

One Island, One Full Moon

Each retreat contains the one before it

These aren't four separate retreats — they're one converging journey. Every guest, whichever length you choose, arrives on the same island and closes together on the same Full Moon night.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa to travel to India for this retreat? +

Most international travelers need a visa to enter India — many nationalities can apply for an e-Visa online before arrival. Check requirements for your passport with India's official e-Visa portal well before booking flights.

Which airport should I fly into for Goa? +

Fly into Goa's Manohar International Airport (Mopa) — it's closer to Siolim and Sai Island than Dabolim Airport, Goa's older airport.

Is transport from the airport available? +

Let the team know your flight details when they call to confirm your booking, and they'll help arrange onward transport to Siolim and the boat crossing to Sai Island.

Is the retreat beginner friendly? +

Yes — Inward Action retreats are designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. No prior yoga or meditation experience is required.

What should I pack? +

Comfortable clothing, swimwear, a water bottle, a journal and pen, a flashlight or headlamp, and a yoga mat if you have a preferred one.

Are meals included? +

Yes — vegetarian meals are included, with vegan options available on request.

Is this suitable for international travelers? +

Yes — Inward Action regularly hosts guests from outside India alongside local and domestic travelers.

Why does the price change by month? +

Each Full Moon cycle is priced separately, and rises 10% from the cycle before it starting with the October cycle. August is sold out and September has minimum slots available on request — check the calendar above for current pricing and availability.

What's the cancellation policy? +

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

Is travel insurance recommended? +

Yes — given the activity level (kayaking, boat transfers, uneven island terrain), we recommend travel insurance that covers adventure activities.

What kind of accommodation is provided? +

Shared tent accommodation on the private island, with a private tent upgrade available on request.

Is everything on the private island? +

The Full Moon Gathering and 3-Day retreat stay entirely on Sai Island. The 5-Day retreat includes one scheduled excursion off the island (a waterfall trip), and the 7-Day retreat includes two (waterfall and spice plantation) — transport is included both times. See each retreat's page for the full day-by-day breakdown.

Do you offer private or custom retreat bookings? +

Yes — for groups, companies, or a fully private island buyout on your own dates, get in touch separately and we'll build a custom plan.

What are the payment terms? +

A deposit holds your seat after your call with our team; the balance is due before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or PayPal — see our Terms & Payment Policy for the full schedule.

Who leads the retreats? +

See Your Host below for more on who guides each retreat.

What does "No Forced Participation" mean for the daily schedule? +

It means you have complete autonomy over your time. While we host daily Kundalini activations, somatic chakra workshops, and sacred Full Moon rituals, you are under no obligation to attend anything. If your nervous system requires an entire afternoon of solo kayaking, resting by the sweet water lake, or quiet contemplation in our meditation corners, that is exactly what you should do.

What is the phone policy on the island? +

We don't confiscate phones or enforce a strict ban — this is a voluntary digital detox. Guests are encouraged to power down, avoid unnecessary scrolling and conversations, and use their phone only when it's genuinely needed. Most guests find that once the initial pull fades, the raw elements — river dips, natural stillness, real conversation — do more to lower stress than a screen ever could.
