Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 July 2026 · Inward Action

1. Booking

A booking is confirmed once payment (in full or deposit, as applicable) is received and verified. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book or attend a retreat.

2. Health & fitness to participate

Guests confirm they are physically able to take part in yoga, breathwork, kayaking, and walking activities on uneven island terrain. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or mobility concerns should inform our team before booking, so we can advise on suitability and any reasonable accommodations.

3. Conduct

Guests are expected to treat facilitators, staff, and fellow guests with respect. Excessive alcohol use, illegal drug use, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the retreat without a refund.

4. Weather & access

Sai Island is accessed by boat. In the event of unsafe weather or river conditions, we will adjust the schedule or relocate activities where possible. Retreat dates themselves will only change in extreme circumstances, and we'll communicate any changes as early as we can.

5. Limitation of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity

5.1 Assumption of Risk. The Participant acknowledges that traveling to a private island via watercraft and participating in wellness retreats involves inherent physical risks. These include, but are not limited to, yoga, breathwork, intensive meditation, swimming, river dips, and unguided or self-directed kayaking. The Participant expressly and voluntarily assumes all structural, physical, and medical risks inherent to these activities.

5.2 Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Inward Action, its founders, facilitators, employees, and island partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including personal injury, illness, psychological distress, property damage, or wrongful death, arising out of or connected with the retreat or island transit. Inward Action acts solely as an intermediary for third-party transport providers and accepts no liability for transit incidents.

5.3 Carve-outs. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude Inward Action's liability for death or personal injury resulting directly from its proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5.4 Medical Disclaimer. Participants affirm they are at least 18 years of age and in good physical and mental health. It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to consult a physician prior to participating in breathwork, physical yoga, or water sports. Inward Action provides no medical care, and the Participant assumes all financial responsibility for emergency medical evacuation or treatment.

In addition to these Terms, all guests are required to sign a physical liability waiver upon check-in before participating in any retreat activity. You can preview the waiver here before your arrival.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or a guest's participation in a retreat, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Panaji, Goa.

7. Payment terms

A booking is held after a confirmation call with our team. A deposit (₹3,000–₹7,000, depending on retreat length) secures your seat; the Full Moon Gathering is paid in full at booking. The remaining balance for multi-day retreats is due in full no later than 7 days before your arrival date.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer or PayPal, arranged directly with our team — we do not process card or UPI payments on this website. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to release your seat, subject to the schedule in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Cancellations & refunds
