Every Question, Answered
Everything about accommodation, food, safety, and the retreats themselves, in one place.
Most international travelers need a visa to enter India — many nationalities can apply for an e-Visa online before arrival. Check requirements for your passport with India's official e-Visa portal well before booking flights.
Fly into Goa's Manohar International Airport (Mopa) — it's closer to Siolim and Sai Island than Dabolim Airport, Goa's older airport. See the exact location on Google Maps.
Let the team know your flight details when they call to confirm your booking, and they'll help arrange onward transport to Siolim and the boat crossing to Sai Island.

Each Full Moon cycle is priced separately, and rises 5% from the cycle before it starting with the October cycle. August is sold out and September has minimum slots available on request — check the calendar above for current pricing and availability.
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
Every cycle is capped at 15 to 25 guests, and we speak with each guest personally before confirming a seat — not as a formality, but because a small, well-matched circle is what makes the island's energy hold. "Request an Invitation" reflects that: your seat is provisionally held, then confirmed on a short call with our team, rather than instantly booked and forgotten.
Yes — given the activity level (kayaking, boat transfers, uneven island terrain), we recommend travel insurance that covers adventure activities.
Shared tent accommodation on the private island, with private tent or private hut upgrades available on request. Huts are limited to 2 per Full Moon cycle. See full accommodation details.
The Full Moon Gathering and 3-Day retreat stay entirely on Sai Island. The 5-Day retreat includes one scheduled excursion off the island (a waterfall trip), and the 7-Day retreat includes two (waterfall and spice plantation) — transport is included both times. See each retreat's page for the full day-by-day breakdown.
Yes — for groups, companies, or a fully private island buyout on your own dates, get in touch separately and we'll build a custom plan.
A deposit holds your seat after your call with our team; the balance is due before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or PayPal — see our Terms & Payment Policy for the full schedule.

It means you have complete autonomy over your time. While we host daily Kundalini activations, somatic chakra workshops, and sacred Full Moon rituals, you are under no obligation to attend anything. If your nervous system requires an entire afternoon of solo kayaking, resting by the sweet water lake, or quiet contemplation in our meditation corners, that is exactly what you should do.
We don't confiscate phones or enforce a strict ban — this is a voluntary digital detox. Guests are encouraged to power down, avoid unnecessary scrolling and conversations, and use their phone only when it's genuinely needed. Most guests find that once the initial pull fades, the raw elements — river dips, natural stillness, real conversation — do more to lower stress than a screen ever could.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice combining postures, breathwork, chanting, and meditation to awaken energy believed to sit dormant at the base of the spine. At Inward Action, Kundalini activation sessions use breath-led movement and sound to help this energy rise through the body, often producing a strong sense of release and heightened awareness. No prior experience is needed.
Chakra cleansing is a practice aimed at clearing and balancing the body's seven energy centres (chakras), from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Each chakra is associated with different physical, emotional, or spiritual qualities. At Inward Action, chakra cleansing workshops use guided meditation, breathwork, and movement to release blockages in these centres.
A Full Moon yoga retreat is a retreat timed to culminate on the night of the Full Moon, using its symbolism of completion and release as the emotional arc of the experience. At Inward Action, every retreat length converges on the same Full Moon night on Sai Island, closing with a Full Moon ritual, fire ceremony, and community celebration.
Yes — the oldest form of sound healing uses only the human voice and breath. Chanting, toning, and mantra repetition create vocal vibration that helps slow the nervous system, the same way a long exhale audibly calms a room. Inward Action's sound healing sessions are led entirely through voice, breath, and rhythm, with no instruments required.
The four traditional paths of yoga are Karma Yoga (selfless action and service), Bhakti Yoga (devotion and surrender), Jnana Yoga (knowledge and self-inquiry), and Raja Yoga (meditation and disciplined stillness) — four different routes toward the same goal of self-realization.
Rishikesh, in the Himalayan foothills along the Ganges, is India's traditional spiritual capital and home to a dense concentration of ashrams — a fitting choice for a more classical, immersion-heavy setting. A Kundalini retreat in Goa, and specifically on a private island like Sai Island, pairs the same practice with a coastal, nature-first setting — warmer climate, water-based activities, and a smaller-scale, less institutional atmosphere. Neither is "better" — it depends whether you're drawn to mountains and tradition, or coastline and quiet nature.
Three things: scale, structure, and setting. Every cycle is capped at 15 to 25 guests, not filled for volume like a typical resort program. There's no fixed daily schedule — sessions are offered, never mandatory. And every retreat is held on a private island, not a hotel property, with every guest's stay converging on the same Full Moon night regardless of how many days they book.
Shared tent accommodation is included in every multi-day retreat (3, 5, and 7-Day). The Full Moon Gathering is a single-evening experience with no overnight stay.
Private tent upgrades range from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per person, scaling with retreat length — ₹3,000 for the 3-Day, ₹4,000 for the 5-Day, and ₹5,000 for the 7-Day retreat.
Private huts range from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 per person depending on retreat length, and are strictly limited to 2 huts per Full Moon cycle regardless of how many retreat lengths are running that cycle. Availability is confirmed on your reservation call.
It's moderate, not extreme — guests should be comfortable walking on uneven island terrain, boarding a boat, and participating in yoga and kayaking. No prior fitness level is required, and every session is optional.
Sai Island is accessed by boat, so severe weather can affect transfers or outdoor sessions. If conditions require it, the team adjusts the schedule or moves activities under cover — guests are kept informed directly by the team, not left to guess.
Yes — the reservation form includes a field for dietary or medical notes, and guests with pre-existing conditions, injuries, or mobility concerns should inform the team before arrival so activities can be adapted appropriately.
Yes — vegetarian meals are included in every retreat, with vegan options available on request. The Full Moon Gathering includes a community dinner.
Yes — the reservation form includes a field for dietary or medical notes, and the team confirms specifics on the reservation call so the island kitchen can prepare accordingly.
The 7-Day Signature Immersion includes a farm-to-table lunch as part of its spice plantation excursion off the island, in addition to the vegetarian meals included in every retreat.
